Facebook Marketplace

Mallory Engen, a WISE parent, is putting a modern twist on a traditional rummage sale.  She is ready to sell your gently used items for you on Facebook Marketplace, with all proceeds going to our school!  Whether it’s clothing, books, toys, household items, tools, electronics or accessories, every donation counts! Your items will be resold on Facebook Marketplace, which means your donations can reach a wider audience and make an even bigger impact to help maximize our fundraising potential.

Donating is simple – take a quick photo of the item(s) and send it to Mallory at rummagesaledonations@gmail.com.  She will then coordinate with you whether drop-off at the school or having the buyer come to your home (for larger items) works the best.

Why participate?

·       Declutter your home and make a positive impact on our school community.

·       Support sustainability by giving your items a second life instead of letting them go to waste.

·       Teach valuable lessons to our children about giving back and the power of collective action.

This fundraiser isn’t just a one-time event—it’s ongoing until the end of the year. So, whether you’re in the midst of spring cleaning now or come across an item closer to summer, please keep us in mind and continue to donate your gently used items to help support our school.

Thank you for your generosity and support!

Mabels Labels Fundraiser

It is very important that parents to label all their children’s school belongings prior to the start of school. A great way to do this is to order labels from our fall fundraiser through Mabels Labels. They have packages just for school that includes clothing, shoe and container labels. Orders can be placed online  here.  The name to select is Waldorf Independent School of Edmonton. Labels are sent directly to your home.

Bulk Buying

Check out our bulk orders page for detailed information.

Shop at the Enchanted Garden

The Enchanted Garden, the volunteer-run store within the WISE, is well-stocked with many Waldorf-related items that are difficult to find locally, such as Stockmar art supplies, Elsa Beskow children’s books, wooden toys, and Waldorf dolls. The store is open during school hours and is also open during most WESE events. If you have any questions, please contact the office at info@thewise.ca

WISE Wish List

Parents and Friends who wish to direct their gift towards something specific that benefit a student, class or the school may be interested in looking at our wish list. There are many opportunities to contribute financially and in kind. Please contact our office for more information.

Volunteer

‘Many hands make light work!’ The operation of WISE requires more than present tuition fees and fundraising can provide. In addition to the tuition funds that each family provides, we ask that families contribute volunteer time throughout the year towards the support of school operation and activities. The overall objective for all—parents and supportive volunteers—is to equitably share the work and financial cost of running the school. Please sign up for a volunteer task, and help enrich the school while strengthening our community. Many jobs can be done at home, in your own time. Please contact the office for more information.
